I've been a creator my whole life. Growing up on Great Barrier provided me with endless inspiration, and hairdressing/makeup artistry is a wonderful outlet and has become my passion. I've spent the last few years doing freelance hair and makeup for weddings, special events and photo shoots included in magazines and advertising campaigns. 

My professional aesthetic is all about simple lines and androgynous silhouetted daytime looks and mysterious and sexy evening styles.  Pristine finishes and styling is so important not only after a cut, but in hair ups and blow outs. Polished makeup that is fresh and modern to enhance naturally beautiful features. I work for beauty, making someone feel it inside and out is what gets me up in the morning.

I have a grounded spiritual nature and believe in providing a calm, relaxing and healing experience for my clients. It really is all about the person in my chair. I love fashion, which I think is essential for a hairdresser. My own style is sharp and fashion forward, I love to mix prints; camo on camo, print on print, plaid/camo/leopard!

Cutting and styling hair appeals to me on a base level, it's like a form of sculpture.  On the other hand I'm quite a logical thinking and love knowing the science behind everything. I believe in prescriptive care, the health of my clients hair is paramount and I enjoy being able to work with my clients directly in their journey to repair and nurture their hair.

I'm excited to create styles that display the beauty in each and every client. This is my passion and my reason.
